Working on 2 shift (7am - 2pm OR 2pm - 9pm) including weekend & Public Holiday (No night shift).
Working based in ward area (inpatient).
Flexible to work 6 days in a week with 1 day off.
Ensure appropriate medication history taking and documentation for inpatient.
Ensure medications are accurately dispensed to the correct patient.
Counsel patients on proper drug administration & technique. Provide information and education to patients to ensure safe and appropriate use of medication.
Check and supply of ward stock, Dangerous Drugs and Psychotropic Substances to internal departments.
Ensure medications are stored and dispensed appropriately to maintain the efficacy and quality.
Ensure all medications are managed in accordance with legal and hospital SOP at ward level.
Job Requirement:
Possess Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia
Minimum 2-3 years of hospital practice.
Basic understanding of dosage administration and clinical reasoning in patient's pharmaceutical needs.
Passionate and possesses the desire to continually improve knowledge & clinical skills.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
