About This Role

As a Payment Operations Analyst, in the Operations Team you will be responsible for the investigation of outstanding bank reconciliation items, handling payment queries and investigation requests, assisting with the management of client funds, broker settlement / reconciliation and liquidity across client bank accounts. In addition, you will provide support for investigating, analysing, administering and implementing changes to processes, procedures and/or products and services that result in increased efficiency and/or cost reduction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reconcile all ledger and bank statement entries and investigate/resolve any anomalies.
  • Handle and resolve Payments queries and manage investigation requests from across the business.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with different teams to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Communicating with customers through various platforms to provide assistance and resolutions.
  • Operational Configuration Maintenance ensuring all internal system and configurations are correct and up to date.
  • Assisting with Managing liquidity across all client bank accounts and ensuring compliance with all payments and banking regulations.
  • Assist with daily payments & settlement tasks, on occasion, to identify process improvements and potential risk failures.
  • UAT co-ordination for operations and key contact for business.
  • Support bank account applications and processes.
  • Adopt a Creative thinking approach to produce new ideas and concepts, contributing to the timely execution and delivery of change initiatives.
  • Operational Access Right audits ensuring all users rights are relevant to roles and seniority.
  • Analyzing data and trends to identify patterns and improve processes.
  • Reviewing and interpreting policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and resolutions.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in a similar Payments or Finance role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of foreign currency exchange or financial services is a plus.
