Location: Kuala Lumpur (Near LRT/Monorail)

Shift Rotation: Morning / Night / Midnight

Allowances: Night and midnight shift daily allowances

WFH: Available for selected shifts

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payment Operations Specialist to support daily payment operations across multiple markets. The role focuses on transaction accuracy, issue resolution, system monitoring, and maintaining overall operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Processing & Monitoring

• Process withdrawals, deposits, wallet top-ups, and refunds

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal standards

Issue Resolution

• Investigate discrepancies and failed transactions

• Coordinate with banks, PSPs, and payment gateways

• Escalate complex cases appropriately

Risk & Compliance Support

• Conduct basic withdrawal validations

• Identify and escalate suspicious activities

• Adhere to compliance and internal control requirements

System Monitoring

• Monitor dashboards for system uptime and stability

• Report and follow up on issues until closure

• Participate in UAT for new features and enhancements

Reporting & Documentation

• Assist with payment reports and reconciliation

• Maintain operational SOPs and documentation

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business, IT, Computer Science, or related fields

• 1–2 years experience in payments, fintech operations, e-wallets, or banking (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Proficient in Excel; ERP or reconciliation tools are an advantage

• Basic understanding of payment systems or APIs

• Able to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Proficient in Mandarin and English for regional communication
