Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Payment Product Manager to lead and scale our payment capabilities across Southeast Asia. This role will act as the key bridge between business, technology, and regional stakeholders

The ideal candidate comes from the payment industry, understands payment flows end-to-end, and is confident engaging both technical and cross-border stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end payment product lifecycle (integration optimisation scaling).
  • Collaborate closely with Vietnam tech team on system integration, enhancements, and roadmap execution.
  • Liaise directly with Cross Country team on payment gateway integration, technical alignment, and issue resolution.
  • Translate business requirements into clear product documentation (PRD/BRD/flow diagrams).
  • Drive payment performance optimisation (success rate, latency, settlement accuracy).
  • Manage payment incidents, reconciliation gaps, and operational escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with scheme rules and local regulatory requirements.
  • Support commercial launches and new market expansions from a payment capability standpoint.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the payment industry (PSP, fintech, acquirer, payment gateway).
  • Strong understanding of payment flows: authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with API integration and working closely with engineering teams.
  • Experience working with cross-border teams, particularly China-based stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience supporting both online and offline payment solutions (POS, QR, card, e-wallet) is a plus.
