Essential Responsibilities:-
- Preparing, document and keep up to date processes for accounting role
- Providing support to correcting entries when required
- Understand and interpret applicable Policies, Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services
- Using SAP and Oracle analysis of various company codes which involves analysis of other general accounts as well on a regular basis and advising improvements and corrective actions
- Implementing best practices in Global Finance Organization and standard processes which benchmark global best practices
- Working closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of all audits
- Analyze and provide explanation for payroll variances
- Manage communication with colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
- Support Payroll Accounting projects or improvement processes, as required
- Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
- Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
- Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
- Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or equivalent
- Have minimum 3 years experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting or Payroll Accounting
- Have experience in Shared Service and Oil & Gas industry will be added advantage
- Be familiar with ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP
- Have knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Have good attention to detail with good analytical skills
- Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
- Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel/ Macro / Powerpoint
