Join our Payroll Accounting Team

Partner with the best

Essential Responsibilities:-

  • Preparing, document and keep up to date processes for accounting role
  • Providing support to correcting entries when required
  • Understand and interpret applicable Policies, Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services
  • Using SAP and Oracle analysis of various company codes which involves analysis of other general accounts as well on a regular basis and advising improvements and corrective actions
  • Implementing best practices in Global Finance Organization and standard processes which benchmark global best practices
  • Working closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of all audits
  • Analyze and provide explanation for payroll variances
  • Manage communication with colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
  • Support Payroll Accounting projects or improvement processes, as required
  • Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
  • Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or equivalent
  • Have minimum 3 years experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting or Payroll Accounting
  • Have experience in Shared Service and Oil & Gas industry will be added advantage
  • Be familiar with ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP
  • Have knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Have good attention to detail with good analytical skills
  • Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel/ Macro / Powerpoint
