As Payroll Analyst, you execute the payroll process for APAC. In this role, you will report to the Payroll Manager, APAC.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Ensures payroll is processed with speed and accuracy.
- Serves as liaison to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
- Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc.
- Coordinates third party payroll system implementations and upgrades.
- Interprets pay policies, (eg., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.
- Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements; stays current with changes in the law.
- May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings and related documentation.
- Documents payroll processes and procedures.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, business informatics or any relevant skills.
- 5+ years of related experience of APAC payroll experience, including Workday proficiency.
- Ability to effectively analyze large amounts of data and present key findings to management.
- Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to details, completes transactions accurately and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated, organized and ability to multitask, honest, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate excellently with colleagues, teams, and other functions.
