Adecco's client, a global business services provider, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive / Specialist to join their Service Delivery team in Malaysia. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on payroll experience who thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations across the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for clients across the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local statutory requirements
- Ensure timely payroll submission and delivery in accordance with client deadlines and service level agreements
- Handle payroll-related queries and provide support on tax-related matters
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and client requests efficiently
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation in line with compliance standards
- Continuously identify process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Approximately 3 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in a regional or outsourced payroll environment
- Strong understanding of the full payroll cycle, including payroll processing, statutory contributions, and submissions
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese (to support Cantonese-speaking clients)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with payroll systems is an advantage
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
