What You Can Expect
Join our team as a Payroll Intern and gain hands-on experience in one of the most essential functions within Global Business Services (GBS) operations.
In this role, you will support the payroll team in ensuring timely and accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of employee pay data. You will be able to gain exposure to the end-to-end payroll cycle, learn how to navigate payroll systems, and develop key analytical and organizational skills that will strengthen your career foundation for a future career in Finance, HR, or Data Operations.
Working alongside experienced payroll professionals, you will gain practical, cross-market experience and learn how accuracy, compliance, and data integrity drive successful business operations.
How You'll Create Impact
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of Time & Attendance and payroll master data for payroll processing.
- Verify employees pay data to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Provide support in responding to employee inquiries on payroll matters through ticketing tools and internal communication channels.
- Help prepare monthly payroll reports to support post-payroll activities, audits, and management analysis.
- Assist the payroll team with internal and external audit documentation and compliance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and always safeguard sensitive payroll information.

Your Background
- Must be actively enrolled in an academic program throughout the internship period.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable) and general familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated fluency in English with ability to communicate both orally and in written form across all levels of the organization and proficiency in additional APAC languages is a plus.
- GPA of 3.5 or above preferred.
