Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including allowances, benefits administration, and employee record management.
Compliance & Tax: Ensure strict adherence to all local and international statutory requirements, managing tax filings, year-end reporting, and compliance audits.
Team Leadership: Lead a payroll team, defining clear roles, setting performance expectations, and conducting regular reviews.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize payroll workflows, leveraging technology to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed payroll, financial, and management reports for leadership, internal stakeholders, and external auditors.
Data Security & Controls: Maintain data integrity and security for all payroll records while ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for external payroll providers, tax agencies, and auditors, while partnering internally with HR, Finance, and Legal departments.
Issue Resolution: Serve as the escalation point to resolve complex payroll discrepancies and sensitive employee inquiries.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 7–8 years of progressive experience in payroll management or a closely related financial/HR operations role.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing and mentoring a team.
Core Competencies: Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical, mathematical, and analytical skills
Audit Experience: Demonstrated experience leading internal and external payroll audits, with the ability to implement corrective action plans.
