Job Description

Payroll Specialist

Position: Payroll Specialist

Location: Malaysia

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time.
  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with Malaysia Employment Act and labour regulations.
  • Manage statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and related submissions.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, attendance, leave, claims, and overtime data.
  • Prepare payroll reports and support audits when required.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, and benefits.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external authorities regarding payroll matters.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of payroll experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia employment labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to support Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
