Payroll Specialist
Position: Payroll Specialist
Location: Malaysia
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time.
- Ensure payroll calculations comply with Malaysia Employment Act and labour regulations.
- Manage statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and related submissions.
- Maintain employee payroll records, attendance, leave, claims, and overtime data.
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits when required.
- Handle employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, and benefits.
- Liaise with internal departments and external authorities regarding payroll matters.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of payroll experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Malaysia employment labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to support Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
