Job Description

Role Purpose

  • Supports Manager in the payroll operations and administration of the human resources activities, ensuring timely and comprehensive payroll processing completion monthly and year end activities.
  • Assist manager across all payroll matters and ensuring operational excellence for all HR tasks.
  • Ensure Right at First time tickets resolution, on time, within scope while maintaining quality standards and employees satisfaction.
  • Support in HR related projects related as and when required.
  • Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible to manage the scope of work in the HR Operations Service Catalogue and process payroll data according to defined standards (policies, governance, processes, standard operating procedures (SOP), systems), managing employees requests, HR operational tickets, and approval workflows.
    • Support Employee and Manager query handling: explaining HR policies, procedures, laws, and standards to employees, addressing employee relations issues, and processing all personnel action forms according to HR operations scope of work.
    • Accountability for providing the relevant information, communicating, and carrying out training courses to transfer knowledge to HR operations team members (new and existing).
    • Well verse with country statutory laws and support Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), and business with HR payroll matters.
    • Develop and implement HR Policies and Procedures and ensure that these best practice policies and procedures area are adhered to and are compliant with employment legislation.
    • Providing excellent customer service to stakeholders.
    • Ensure year end activities completed accurately and in a timely manner, according to country statutory requirements.
    • Coaches and supervises new employees and existing team members on employee data management process and ensures it remains up-to-date and complete in support of internal and external compliance requirements.
    • Support the implementation of HR projects/initiatives, new technology / application implementations, or alike as and when required.
    • Support both external and internal audits ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll activities, while maintaining compliance.
  • Professional Experience & Education

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of HR related experience, preferably in HR payroll operations
    • Sound Knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes to ensure efficiency and optimization.
    • General knowledge of HR operations preferred.
  • Specific Skills & Knowledge

    • Good working knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations related to HR functions
    • Knowledge with HRIS and HCM software such as SAP SuccessFactors or related HR Systems.
    • Good organizational and negotiation skills.
    • Able to absorb and apply knowledge to give correct advice on county statutory, standard policies and procedures.
    • Strong knowledge and proficiency of MS Office skills.
    • Language proficiency in English, preferably other languages as well.
