Key Responsibilities
PCIe Compliance Test Execution
- Execute PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6 compliance testing activities.
- Support PCIe CEM transmitter (TX), receiver (RX), and Refclk compliance validation.
- Prepare and configure compliance test setups according to approved procedures.
- Perform calibration, test execution, result collection, and report generation.
- Maintain test logs and validation records.
Lab Setup & Equipment Ownership
- Set up and maintain compliance validation benches and test environments.
- Operate and maintain:
- High-bandwidth oscilloscopes
- BERT systems
- Compliance automation platforms
- Signal generators
- PCIe test fixtures and compliance hardware
- Troubleshoot setup and connectivity issues.
- Ensure lab equipment readiness, calibration, and inventory tracking.
Debug & Failure Analysis
- Support engineers in root-cause investigation of compliance failures.
- Collect waveforms, screenshots, logs, and compliance reports.
- Assist with SI-related debug activities.
- Perform repeatability studies and correlation testing across platforms and instruments.
Automation & Data Management
- Execute automated test scripts and validation workflows.
- Organize and archive test data.
- Support development of basic automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Generate compliance summaries and dashboard updates.
Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with:
- Electrical Validation Engineers
- Signal Integrity Engineers
- Platform Teams
- External vendors and compliance solution providers
