The Team

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented People Business Partner to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with business objectives to support our continued growth and high-performance culture across Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region.

How You Will Contribute

Strategic People Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic People advisor and consultant to assigned leaders in Malaysia and business unit leaders across ASEAN, translating business challenges and goals into proactive people and talent strategies.
  • Drive and support key global and regional People initiatives across talent management, workforce planning, performance development, succession planning, and organizational design, ensuring local relevance and effective execution.
  • Utilize data and analytics to provide actionable workforce insights on trends such as turnover, engagement, and productivity, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate the annual performance development cycle, coaching leaders on effective feedback, goal setting, and development planning to reinforce a high-performance culture.
  • Champion A&M's core values (Integrity, Quality, Objectivity, Personal Reward, Inclusive Diversity, and Fun), fostering an inclusive and high-engagement work environment.
  • Support employee engagement survey results and organizational climate initiatives through effective action planning and follow-through.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on employment legislation and HR policies, mitigating employee and organizational risk.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations in partnership with People Services, ensuring efficient delivery across benefits, compensation processes, and HRIS data integrity.

Qualifications


  • People Business Partnering experience within a professional services or management consulting environment or management consulting experience with a keen interest and passion in human resources.
  • ASEAN regional experience, with a strong understanding of local labor legislation, compensation practices, and cultural nuances across multiple markets.
  • Executive presence and influence, with the credibility to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to partner with People leadership on regional initiatives while independently leading complex HR programs or management consulting experience.
  • Data-driven mindset, with strong proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) and analytics to inform talent and workforce decisions.
