The People Partner is the operational and tactical HR partner to local Operation site and Business Line & Support Functions in Malaysia. He/she is part of the HR core team members at local site to drive HR agenda for business which include cultivating an ethical and winning culture, building organizational and leadership capability as well as managing the workforce to ensure business success
The incumbent shall primarily focus on one or two HR areas and scalable to other HR areas as developmental opportunities, including Learning & Development, ER/IR/ethics, HR generalist, Workforce Planning, etc.
Support the country HR leader, factory GM and local management team to drive for organizational and cultural transformation to achieve business's long-term objective towards industry benchmarking performance
Play a facilitating role in further improving the organization's talent mindset, team effectiveness and performance
Collaborate with HR COE partners including Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Talent Management & Development and HRIS functions to ensure proper resources are well deployed and HR actions are effectively implemented in terms of hiring, development, performance management, retention, etc. to support business needs
Liaisons with all relevant functions including legal, Finance, etc. and external government parties, to ensure all our HR operations in line with internal guidelines and compliant to the government policies and industry requirement
The incumbent is expected, where appropriate, to contribute in areas outside his/her direct functional responsibilities by leading or participating in global or cross-site or site level project or initiative to support local business need
Requirement:
Bachelor or above degree, majoring in HR Management or Business Administration are preferable.
Manufacturing experience in multinational company and matrix organization is a MUST.
At least 8 years work experience in HR and related industries, Hi-tech (Semiconductor or electronic) or automotive industry exposures are preferable.
Candidates with HR specialization skills such as Learning & Development, Organization Development, Employee & Industrial Relations are encouraged to apply. Broader HR experience or HR Generalist is plus.
Experience in leading or supporting business transformation is a plus.
Fluency in English and Malay languages both in speaking and writing.
Proactive, able to lead and drive, business acumen (able to understand business, and interpret business needs into HR programs and actions), actionable and result-driven, able to manage ambiguity, effective communication & alignment, able to balance stakeholders, team collaboration.
