Paid Media Manager | Performance Manager | Search

We're looking for a results-driven Paid Media Manager (Search) with a proven record of building, optimizing, and scaling high-performance paid search campaigns for B2C clients. This role is ideal for someone who has proven agency experience and thrives on analytics, precision, and delivering measurable growth through strategic paid media execution.

You'll lead end-to-end campaign management across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other platformsdriving performance, managing budgets, and ensuring every click counts.

The Role. As a Paid Media Manager, you'll take full ownership of paid search campaigns, from pre-launch planning to continuous optimization and post-campaign analysis. You'll collaborate closely with account managers, clients, and creative teams in Australia, ensuring that campaigns not only meet but exceed performance goals.

You'll also act as the technical expert, setting up tracking, diagnosing issues, and using data to inform decisions that improve ROI, efficiency, and conversion rates.

You're comfortable managing complex campaigns across multiple Regions, solving problems quickly, and presenting insights that drive smarter decisions. You stay on top of platform updates, algorithm shifts, and industry trends, always looking for an edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search, Search Ads360.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and performance forecasting.
  • Manage campaign structures, audience targeting, and bid strategies to achieve CPA and ROAS targets.
  • Oversee tracking setup and validation, ensuring data accuracy across pixels, GTM, and analytics platforms.
  • Deliver regular reporting and actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to align messaging with performance objectives.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and optimization strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years experience managing large-scale Google Ads campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, or Search Ads 360 is advantageous.
  • Experience with Shopping, Remarketing, and Performance Max campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking, tag management, and data attribution.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and a strong grasp of analytics and reporting.
  • Deep knowledge of PPC best practices, A/B testing, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities.
