Job Description

Britannia Malaysia is hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to help scale our paid acquisition and lead generation efforts.

To be clear, this is a Mid-Level Marketing Role (Minimum 3 Years Experience) - You must have experience managing paid Meta ad campaigns (at minimum). We welcome candidates who've run ads in a marketing agency or on the client side.

This is also not a boost post and report impressions role.

This is a hands-on performance marketing role where you will own campaigns, manage real ad spend, build funnels, track results, and directly contribute to student enquiries, consultation bookings, and enrolments.

We are looking for someone who wants ownership, accountability, and measurable impact.

About us

Britannia is a leading UK education consultancy helping students and families apply to top boarding schools, colleges, and universities in the UK.

We are part of a wider international education group with offices across:

  • Malaysia
  • Thailand
  • Japan
  • Hong Kong
  • China
  • United Kingdom

Over the years, we have helped 1,000+ students and families navigate their UK education journey.

We are also a BSA Certified Agent, with over 15 years of experience in UK education consultancy.

Our mission is simple:

To help every student find a school or university that is truly right for them.

To do that at scale, we need strong marketers who can help us reach the right families, generate qualified enquiries, and build reliable acquisition systems.

The Role

--

As our Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, launching, tracking, and optimising paid marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads and potentially other ad platforms such as Google and TikTok.

You will work across the full acquisition funnel.

That means you will not only run ads.

You will also think about:

  • The offer
  • The audience
  • The creative angle
  • The landing page
  • The funnel journey
  • The tracking setup
  • The lead quality
  • And the conversion metrics

You will have direct visibility into how your campaigns perform and how they contribute to the growth of the business.

This role is suited for someone who is both analytical and creative.

You need to be comfortable writing ad copy, reviewing landing pages, reading campaign data, fixing tracking issues, and making decisions based on results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You will plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other relevant acquisition channels.
  • You will manage monthly advertising budgets and take ownership of campaign performance.
  • You will create, test, and improve ad creatives, hooks, headlines, copy, audiences, and offers.
  • You will build and optimise landing pages for education campaigns, events, webinars, school consultations, university pathways, and other lead generation funnels.
  • You will set up and maintain conversion tracking across Meta Pixel, Google Ads, GA4, and related tools.
  • You will run structured A/B tests across ads, audiences, landing pages, forms, and funnel steps.
  • You will monitor core metrics such as CPL, CPA, CTR, CVR, ROAS, lead quality, booked consultation rate, and cost per qualified lead.
  • You will analyse weekly results and present clear insights to leadership.
  • You will identify what is working, what is wasting budget, and what needs to be tested next.
  • You will work with the team to turn education events, school visits, webinars, and consultancy offers into strong campaigns.
  • You will stay updated on platform changes, privacy updates, tracking changes, and paid media best practices.
  • You will help improve the performance marketing system as the business continues to grow.

Reporting is key

You should understand performance marketing metrics such as:

  • CPC

You should be able to look at campaign data and explain what is happening clearly.

You should know when a problem is caused by the ad, the targeting, the creative, the landing page, the offer, the tracking, or the follow-up process.

You should be able to write clear, persuasive ad copy and landing page content.

You should be comfortable with basic funnel building and conversion rate optimisation.

You should understand tracking tools such as:

  • Meta Pixel
