Plum, RedTape, Newme, Boldfit, Treebo, Ugaoo and Aachho run their customer experience on us. One customer automates 60,000 tickets a month. Another hit 94% AI resolution through a 12x sale surge.

We're expanding beyond India into APAC and the US. This role owns the paid engine that gets us in front of those buyers.

The role

Are you a performance maketer with 1-2 years experience You will own Sagepilot's paid acquisition budget end to end — LinkedIn, Google, and paid social — across APAC and US markets and any new paid channel worth testing so we aren't boxed into the known ones. You set the strategy, run the campaigns, control the spend, and answer for the MQL number.

You will have experienced founders, product and marketing specialists to guide you but you will be the founding performance marketer. You'll have real budget authority and unusually short feedback loops, and you'll be the person in the room who knows what a qualified lead actually costs us.

What you'll own

• Full-funnel paid campaigns across LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads (Search, PMax, YouTube), and paid social — from ICP targeting through creative briefs to landing page conversion
• New channel discovery identify, pilot and scale paid channels we're not on yet (e.g. Meta, Reddit, X, programmatic/display, native, review sites like G2/Capterra, newsletter and podcast sponsorships, regional APAC platforms, affiliate). Owning the known channels well is the baseline; finding the next one is the real upside.
• Budget allocation and pacing across geographies and channels, with weekly reallocation based on what's working
• The MQL pipeline — volume, quality, and cost. You'll own CPL, MQL→SQL conversion, and pipeline contribution as your primary metrics
• Market-specific strategy for APAC and US — messaging, bidding, and creative that reflect how buyers in each region actually evaluate AI tooling
• Landing pages and conversion testing in partnership with design and web
• Measurement and attribution — clean tracking, honest reporting, and a weekly view leadership can trust
• Rapid experimentation — new channels, audiences, and creative angles tested on short cycles, killed fast when they don't work

What we're looking for

Must-haves

• 1–2 years running performance marketing at a SaaS or AI-native startup
• Demonstrated ownership of paid budgets on LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads — you've built campaigns from scratch, not just optimized someone else's + Has launched a paid channel from zero
• Proven track record generating MQLs in APAC and/or US markets for a B2B product
• Fluency with the numbers: CPL, CAC, MQL→SQL rates, blended pipeline efficiency. You should be able to defend a spend decision with data
• Hands-on with GA4, campaign managers, and at least one CRM or marketing automation stack
• Sharp copy instincts and the ability to brief creative that converts to a technical buyer

Nice-to-haves

• SEO/SEM fundamentals — organic and paid working together rather than in separate silos
• Experience with community-led growth or B2B events and field marketing
• Familiarity with the D2C, e-commerce, or CX tooling landscape
• Comfort with AI tools in your own workflow — we build them, we expect you to use them

What tells us you'll do well here

You get impatient with campaigns that have been running unchanged for two weeks. You'd rather ship five experiments and kill three than perfect one. You read your own dashboards before someone asks. And when a channel isn't working, you say so early instead of defending it.

1. AI screening round — a conversation with one of our own AI agents, covering your background and how you think about paid acquisition.
2. In-person whiteboarding with the founding team — at our Bengaluru office. You'll work through live problems: budget allocation across markets, a channel that's underperforming, an ICP you've never sold to. No take-home, no rehearsed presentation. Just the thinking.
