Reporting To: Asset Management & Operations Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily performance of solar PV assets including generation, availability, performance ratio (PR), specific yield, and plant efficiency.
  • Track actual plant performance against budget, forecast, PPA guarantees, and financial model assumptions.
  • Perform daily monitoring of SCADA systems, inverters, weather stations, meters, and communication systems to identify abnormalities and performance losses.
  • Analyze energy losses, downtime events, inverter trips, curtailment, shading, equipment degradation, and grid-related issues.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for underperforming assets and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset performance reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Track and verify energy generation data, irradiation data, and performance calculations to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Coordinate with O&M contractors to investigate performance issues and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Maintain asset performance database and ensure integrity of operational records and historical performance data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in asset management, performance monitoring, data analysis, or solar O&M. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical, data reporting, and problem-solving skills.
