Performance Test Analyst

This is a contract based role (12 months renewable upon performance).

Location: Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

We are seeking a highly skilled performance test analyst to take charge of setting up and

configuring performance testing environments for various applications. In this role, you will be

responsible for planning, designing, and implementing performance testing frameworks and

infrastructure to assess system behaviour under stress, load, and scalability conditions. You will lead the end-to-end process of performance testing, from environment setup to execution, and ensure all performance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Configuration: Design, set up, and configure performance testing environments,

ensuring they mirror production systems and can simulate realistic user loads.

Test Planning: Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to define

performance test requirements, metrics, and goals.

Test Execution: Create and execute performance tests using industry-standard tools

(JMeter, LoadRunner) to measure response times, throughput, and system stability under

various conditions.

Troubleshooting and Analysis: Identify performance bottlenecks and failures during testing,

perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.

Automation and Framework Development: Develop automated performance test scripts

and reusable testing frameworks to streamline the testing process.

Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to track and report on key performance

metrics such as CPU, memory usage, and network bandwidth during test execution.

Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with development and infrastructure teams to

resolve performance issues and optimize application performance.

Reporting: Provide detailed reports and documentation of test results, findings, and

optimization recommendations for stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience in setting up and configuring performance testing environments and

tools.

Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner.

Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.

Hands-on experience with server monitoring tools and metrics analysis.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying and resolving performance

issues.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present test results and

recommendations.

Experience in performance tuning and optimizing system configurations is a plus.
