What you'll be doing
Design and execute performance test plans using tools like JMeter and Load Runner
Design, develop nonfunctional testing (Scalability, load, stress) and scripts.
Analyse performance test results and identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests on applications.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure performance requirements are met.
Build and maintain a performance quality gate and a performance testing strategy on given project.
Enable performance monitoring and performance analytics to apply insights from production into development lifecycle for modelling and analysis
Provide recommendations for performance improvements and optimizations.
Analyse test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements
Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance issues
Automate performance testing processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
Document testing methodologies and best practices
Continuously research and implement new performance testing techniques
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg. Bootcamp) can be accepted.
Minimum 7 years of experience in performance and load testing using tools like JMeter and Load Runner
Experience in scripting (Java, Javascript, Groovy)
Understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks.
Experience in programming languages such as Java (preferably)
Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git and CI-CD pipeline
Good understanding of development processes associated with an understanding of performance testing
Work experience in Finance, banking or insurance industry is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile software development practices or Waterfall Methodology.
Certification ITIL is a PLUS.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
