Performance Tester

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance tests (load, stress, endurance) using JMeter, LoadRunner,

and IBM Rational Performance Tester.

• Analyse test results to identify performance bottlenecks (CPU, memory, network, database,

APIs).

• Establish performance benchmarks and validate system behavior under peak load.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support performance

optimisation.

• Prepare clear performance test reports with findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

•Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

•Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing, specifically using JMeter in complex and integrated Telco systems or similarly large-scale environments.

Skills:

•Solid expertise in Apache JMeter, with the ability to build advanced test plans, parameterization, correlation, and custom scripting.

•Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web technologies, API performance testing, and backend systems.

•Hands-on experience with testing integrated systems, including middleware, third-party APIs, and backend databases.

•Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, or equivalent).

•Experience with CI/CD integration for performance testing (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

•Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Groovy, Python, or Shell) for test automation and analysis.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

•Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
