Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Performance Tester / Performance Engineer to support enterprise-level applications within the IT Services and Technology Consulting industry. The role focuses on ensuring system scalability, stability, and performance through effective performance engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute performance testing strategies, estimations, and plans
• Design workloads, test cases, test environments, and test data
• Execute benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests
• Monitor application and system behavior during test execution
• Analyze CPU, memory, network usage, garbage collection, and database metrics
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and connection issues
• Analyze performance requirements and guide stakeholders to define production-like workloads
• Prepare detailed performance reports, track defects, and obtain sign-off
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the SDLC to promote performance engineering best practices
• Use JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with MicroFocus LoadRunner / Performance Center
• Mandatory protocol experience:
• Web (HTTP/HTML)
• TruClient
• Web Services
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Geneos, Grafana, Prometheus, BMC TrueSight, Splunk
• Hands-on coding experience in Core Java (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Experience with On-Premise and Cloud architecture (OCP, AWS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
