Job Description

Job Summary:**

The Personal Financial Consultant at RHB Bank Berhad is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing expert financial advice, and helping individuals achieve their financial goals through a range of banking products and services.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Proactively identify and engage with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis for clients, including assessing their current financial situation, risk tolerance, and future aspirations.
  • Develop and present tailored financial solutions, encompassing savings, investments, insurance, loans, and wealth management products offered by RHB Bank.
  • Provide ongoing financial advice and guidance, regularly reviewing client portfolios and recommending adjustments based on market conditions and life events.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication, exceptional service, and proactive follow-ups.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets for various financial products and services.
  • Stay updated on market trends, financial regulations, and new product offerings to provide accurate and relevant advice.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other bank departments to ensure seamless client service and product delivery.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, financial advisory, or a customer-facing role within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of various financial products, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Possession of relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CEILI) is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
