Job Description

Overview:

The Protege will support the PFSi Deposit department in driving deposit growth. This role focuses on exploring deposit opportunities, streamlining business, and developing innovative Islamic deposit campaigns. You will act as the bridge between product strategy and ground execution with the branches.

Responsibilities:

Business Growth

  • Market Intelligence: Identify business opportunities to increase deposit volumes leveraging within the bank and ecosystem.
  • Program Development: Assist in developing new business initiatives specifically for Islamic Deposit.
  • Products & Programs from approval and implementation to performance tracking (HLB@WORK / HLB@CAMPUS / SALAM@CONNECT).
  • Customer Experience: Respond promptly to customer's inquiries regarding info of all Deposit products of the Bank.

Training & Support

  • Frontline Support: Participate in the development of deposit products and lead training sessions to educate branch staff on product features.
  • Delivery Channels: Support the expansion of delivery channels and manage relationships with business partners or alliances to increase deposit touchpoints.
  • Operational Support: Identify and resolve operational pain points for the frontline to ensure a seamless sales process for deposit products.

Strategic Proposals & Reporting

  • Presentations: Prepare presentation slides and proposals for new deposit campaigns or product enhancements.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in preparing and reviewing sales data to evaluate product performance.

Compliance Monitoring

  • Regulatory Awareness: Ensure Compliance to the Bank's and Regulatory Standard Operating Procedures/policies/ guidelines.
  • Proactive Management: Manage all administrative matters timely and accurately.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed analysis reports on deposit trends, compliance reviews, and project follow-ups.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years experience preferably in banking with knowledge in the relevant business.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant working experience in the financial industry.
  • Excellent in MS Excel and ability to apply relevant Excel formulas for critical data analysis.
  • Must have proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills by conducting root cause analysis and statistical analysis.
  • Good at MS Power Point and presentation skill.
  • Passion, high level of energy and strong sense of urgency for executing projects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work successfully with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
