Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new clients interested in investment and wealth management solutions.
- Leverage leads from branch walk-ins, referrals, and digital channels to build a strong client base.
- Actively collaborate with Wealth Specialists to provide investment solutions tailored to clients needs.
- Organize and participate in client events, seminars, and financial literacy programs to generate interest in wealth products.
Wealth Management
- Conduct financial needs analysis and risk profiling to recommend suitable wealth products.
- Provide expert guidance on portfolio management, including risk assessment, diversification, and asset performance monitoring.
- Ensure clients understand product benefits, risks, and market conditions to make informed investment decisions.
- Conduct periodic reviews of clients investment portfolios and suggest strategies for optimization.
- Develop strategies to deepen customer wallet share by identifying opportunities to optimize their financial portfolios and enhance returns.
Relationship Management & Client Retention
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and continued investment growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Regularly update clients on market trends, portfolio performance, and new investment opportunities.
- Implement proactive client engagement strategies to enhance satisfaction and referral business.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling other financial products, including (but not limited to) takaful, estate planning, and structured investments.
Sales Target Achievement & Performance Management
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets for wealth products and overall portfolio growth.
- Ensure high product penetration by cross-selling wealth solutions to new and existing clients.
- Monitor personal sales performance and take corrective action when necessary to achieve KPIs.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all sales and proposed wealth solutions services comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct proper due diligence, KYC (Know Your Customer), and suitability assessments before recommending products.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in accordance with bank policies.
Key Requirements:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as UT, CFP, RFP, IPPC or investment-related licenses are an advantage.
Experience
Minimum Two [2] years in relationship management, wealth management, or financial advisory.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of wealth products, including gold accounts, unit trusts, and Banca Takaful.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to conduct financial planning and investment advisory services.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance in wealth management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- Number of new wealth clients acquired and total portfolio growth.
- Achievement of individual sales targets for wealth solutions.
- Customer retention and satisfaction levels.
- Quality of financial advisory services provided.
- Compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
