We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Station Manager to oversee daily petrol station operations, ensure compliance, and lead the team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Location: Karak, Pahang
Working Hours: On-Shift
Salary Range: RM3,200 - RM3,800
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily station operations to ensure smooth workflow, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Ensure full compliance with oil company requirements and local authority regulations.
- Prepare and review daily operational and reconciliation reports.
Stock & Inventory Management
- Manage fuel (wet stock) and retail/mart products (dry stock).
- Perform daily inventory reconciliation and supervise stock deliveries.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure proper merchandising.
Team Leadership
- Plan and manage staff duty roster to ensure sufficient manpower.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor attendance, overtime, and enforce discipline.
Cash & Cost Control
- Ensure accurate daily cash handling, reconciliation, and bank deposits.
- Monitor expenses and maintain cost control within budget.
Customer Service Excellence
- Maintain high service standards and handle customer feedback professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain good working relationships.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all food handling complies with hygiene, safety, and halal standards.
Marketing & Sales Growth
- Execute company promotions and marketing activities.
- Monitor sales performance and suggest improvement initiatives.
Other Duties
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Requirement
- Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent (Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred).
- Candidates with at least 2-3 years of experience in a convenience retail environment are encouraged to apply.
- With working experience in Petrol Station (any brand) will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of stock control, cash handling, and daily operations.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
