Job Responsibilities:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist, based in Pendang, Kedah.
- Accurately screen prescriptions, dispense medications, and provide health screening, consultation, and counselling services.
- Counsel and advise customers on their medication regimens and health conditions.
- Provide relevant health tips and personalized advice to support customers in achieving a healthier lifestyle.
- Manage medication inventory, including checking expiry dates, ensuring medicines are correctly labeled, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Provide coverage for fellow pharmacists when required.
- Uphold best pharmacy practices in accordance with regulatory authority guidelines and Company policies.
Qualifications
- Flexible to work on rotational shift including weekends and public holidays.
- Pharmacy graduate from Universities or institutes recognized by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia
- Proficient in patient counseling and customer service, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Required language English and Bahasa Malaysia, speaking Mandarin is an added advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy settings is an advantage
