Pharmacist

Role DescriptionThe Pharmacist will dispense prescribed medications, counsel patients on the appropriate use of medications, and ensure that prescriptions comply with regulatory and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising pharmacy staff, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and drug interactions, and educating healthcare providers on medication management and usage protocols. The role requires attention to detail and a patient-centered approach to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in pharmaceutical dispensing, medication management, and drug dosage calculations
• Understanding of drug interactions, contraindications, and pharmacy laws or regulations
• Strong communication and counseling skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Ability to manage inventory and handle administrative tasks within a pharmacy setting
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Licensed and registered with the relevant pharmaceutical authority
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is an advantage
