We are looking for a Pharmacist to ensure the continuous availability of medications and pharmacy supplies while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing wastage, and supporting cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage pharmaceutical procurement and supplier coordination.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Forecast medication demand and plan replenishment strategies.
- Monitor stock expiry, slow-moving inventory, and stock write-offs.
- Coordinate stock counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Support drug shortage management and alternative sourcing initiatives.
- Analyze inventory and procurement data and prepare management reports.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid APC.
- Experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or pharmacy operations.
- Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
