PhD position in Process Systems Engineering

Research areas: Process Integration, Process Systems Engineering, Energy Management, Pinch Analysis, Energy Efficiency, Circular Economy

Financial support: UTP Graduate Assistantship (GA) Scheme

Expected start date: May 2026

UTP GA Scheme details:

• Open for full-time PhD research students only
• Minimum CGPA of 3.25/4.00 in both Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
• Covers tuition fee and research methodology fee.
• Student to pay for Resources Fee (RM2,400 annually for Full-Time mode) and Viva Voce Fee (RM3,000).
• Registration, accommodation, and transportation costs are not covered and shall be borne by students.
• Candidates will be required to perform 84 hours of teaching assistantship activities in the form of tutorials, laboratory demonstrations, or other related academic activities.
• Candidates are required to perform 22 research days per month
• Monthly subsistence allowance: RM3,000
