Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role in Kota Damansara, Malaysia. The Photographer and Videographer will capture and produce high-quality images and videos for social media campaigns. Working closely with the creative team, this role ensures that visual content aligns with brand philosophy and overall marketing objectives. Responsibilities include shooting, editing, and retouching images and videos to maintain the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Produce visually compelling photos and videos tailored for social media platforms.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand brand identity, messaging, and content needs.
• Conceptualise and execute creative ideas aligned with current social media trends and platform best practices.

2. Photography & Videography

• Operate professional cameras, lighting, and editing software to capture high-quality visuals.
• Conduct photo and video shoots in-studio and on-location, ensuring optimal composition, lighting, and angles.
• Organise and maintain a library of digital assets for efficient retrieval and reuse.

3. Social Media Optimisation

• Keep up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies.
• Optimise content for different platforms to ensure engagement and technical compliance.

4. Client Collaboration

• Communicate with clients to understand goals, preferences, and feedback.
• Present creative concepts and develop visual strategies that align with clients marketing objectives.

5. Project Management

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and timelines.
• Coordinate with account executives, graphic designers, and other team members for cohesive content creation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
• Proven experience in photography and videography, especially for social media content.
• Ability to operate and maintain photography and videography equipment.
• Strong artistic skills and sense of composition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Photography, Videography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience in graphic design is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media trends and platforms.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Salary Remuneration:

The monthly salary for this position is in the range of RM3,500 to RM4,500 and will be determined by the candidate's overall qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated competencies.
