Understands and carries out the Physiotherapy Service in line with Vision and Mission Statements, Philosophy, Goals and Objectives that suit the scope of the Services and hospital.
Understands the service organization structure.
Informs Physiotherapist in Charge when changes occur in circumstances which affect standard of services.
Attends meetings held by the services in order to discuss issues and matters pertaining to the operation of the service.
Plans, conducts and evaluates physical therapy treatment/intervention programs and activities.
Provides treatment/intervention according to the prescribed plan, including task oriented activities, neuro-motor activities and patient/family counseling and activities.
Participate in the assessment, design and invention of adaptive equipment and orthotic devices.
Administer the various electrotherapy treatment
Evaluates patient response to treatment/intervention and makes recommendations on changes in treatment required
Maintains records on each patient concerning treatment/intervention provided, including both subjective ad objective data
Participated in a multidisciplinary team to assist in developing intervention strategies to meet the client's needs.
Provide supervision and training to Physiotherapy students
To conduct Ante Natal class, health talk, aerobic and etc. as per Physiotherapy in Charge instructed
To carry out On call Duties as per rotation.
Proper handling of infection control and ensure that service is always kept clean, safe and hazard free
To participate actively in all hospital activities
Assist Physiotherapy in charge to manage service Rehab medical items stock as per hospital requirement in audit. Record all appliances sold in bin card.
Assist Physiotherapy in charge to collect all the data pertaining to quality matters.
Charge in and outpatient accordingly.
To help in keeping the service running cost under control.
Proper handling of equipment and to report any faulty to Physiotherapist in Charge immediately.
Performed any other duties are assigned by the Physiotherapist in Charge.
