Planner 2 - Production Control

We are seeking an experienced Planner 2 to join our Production Control team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient coordination between planning, production, and supply chain functions. You will play a critical role in meeting customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and on-time delivery
  • Prepare and present production reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards to management
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address demand changes and special requests
  • Utilize planning software and systems to track production status and generate scheduling reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and production issues

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management/ management / science/ Industrial Engineer
  • 2-5 years of related experience in Master Scheduling or Production Planning.
  • Experiences in supply chain and order management are additional advantages especially in production control & scheduling.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED:

  • Preferably with hands-on experience in i2 System, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong data analytics (highly experienced in extracting, manipulating and reporting data from multiple sources), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short-term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues.
