Discovering the role
- Drive robust project planning and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient delivery of hyperscale data center projects.
- Provide accurate, data-driven visibility on project progress, critical path, and key risks to support informed decision-making.
- Enable seamless cross-functional coordination to maintain alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Strengthen project governance by ensuring adherence to schedules, reporting standards, and execution milestones across multiple concurrent projects.
Main Responsibilities
Planning & Schedule Management
- Develop, baseline, and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 in alignment with project scope and milestones.
- Monitor and control project progress through regular schedule updates, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate critical path activities, float consumption, and schedule risks.
- Establish and recommend recovery strategies and mitigation plans to address delays and ensure project continuity.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and actively participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure schedule alignment and execution readiness.
- Drive accountability by proactively following up on deliverables and resolving schedule constraints.
Reporting & Project Controls
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Prepare and present periodic progress reports, including schedule performance, risk status, and recovery actions.
- Support project governance processes by ensuring compliance with reporting standards and documentation requirements.
Multi-Project & Performance Management
- Manage and prioritize multiple project schedules simultaneously within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Perform effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
- Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and reporting efficiency to enhance overall project performance.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of project planning/scheduling experience preferred.
- Experience in data centers, construction, ELV, or systems integration projects is an advantage.
- Monitor project progress, critical path, forecasting, and recovery planning.
- Ensure schedule alignment, reporting compliance, and project milestone tracking.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
