Job Descriptions

1. Responsible for developing and implementing material requirement plans to ensure the timely supply of production materials.
2. Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent material shortages or surpluses.
3. Optimize inventory structure to reduce costs and improve turnover rates.
4. Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate purchase prices and delivery timelines.
5. Supervise the procurement process to ensure quality and cost control.
6. Handle material quality issues and develop improvement measures.
7. Manage the Material Control team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations. 8. Develop and enhance material control processes and systems to improve efficiency. 9. Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Production, Sales, and Finance, to ensure smooth material control operations. 10. Regularly generate material control reports to support decision-making

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, supplier management.
3. Good command of English and Malay (spoken and written). Mandarin speaker will be an additional advantage.
4. Familiar with material control or supply chain management.
5. Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
6. Strong sense of responsibility, careful work, and able to adapt to pressure.
