Planning & Warehouse Manager
Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM8,000-RM12,000 (negotiable based on experience)
We are assisting an established manufacturing company in Nilai to source suitable candidates for the position of Planning & Warehouse Manager.
This role is suitable for candidates with strong experience in production planning, warehouse management, inventory control, logistics and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production planning based on customer demand, forecast and operational capacity
- Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, WIP and finished goods
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control and dispatch
- Manage logistics, transporters and 3PL service providers
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits and reconciliation
- Improve warehouse layout, storage utilization, SOPs and work instructions
- Prepare and analyse planning, inventory and supply chain performance reports
- Lead warehouse and planning teams to achieve departmental objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency and cost control
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in production planning, warehouse management, logistics or supply chain management
- At least 5 years experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, production planning and logistics management
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; plastics or packaging industry will be an added advantage
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills
- Willing to work in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
