About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to support the delivery of multiple large-scale data center projects across Malaysia.
Embedded within the Owner's Representative (PMC) team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules across the full project lifecycle. Working closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders, you will ensure project milestones are achieved while proactively identifying schedule risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Establish and maintain baseline schedules throughout design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and project handover.
- Monitor project progress and analyse schedule performance against key milestones.
- Identify critical path activities, schedule risks, delays, and opportunities, recommending recovery strategies where required.
- Review and evaluate contractor baseline programmes, schedule updates, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate planning activities with project managers, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.
- Prepare schedule reports, progress updates, look-ahead programmes, and executive dashboards for project leadership.
- Assess schedule impacts arising from design changes, variations, and project risks.
- Support project controls, forecasting, and overall programme management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings and present planning updates, key risks, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Strong understanding of project planning methodologies, including Critical Path Method (CPM), progress measurement, and schedule management.
- Experience managing project schedules across the full project lifecycle, from design through commissioning and handover.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate schedule performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
