Position Summary
This is leadership role who is leading the planning team. This involved overseeing and coordinating raw material planning & production schedules, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and optimizing material planning time & production process to meet organization goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless production operation and material supply with the achievement of inventory KPI – Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC)
Priority to Mandarin Speaking candidates.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for production & raw material planning, analysis and performing overall planning for orders received.
- Responsible for leading development and implementation of strategic planning to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaboration with various departments including Production, QA, Engineering, Warehouse and Logistics to align planning efforts to ensure seamless execution to optimize material flow and minimize lead time.
- Oversee production activities on daily basis to ensure timely completion of the goods. Able to fully organize meetings with the production team with material analysis with the operation team.
- Responsible for daily stock inventory monitoring to ensure no shortage supply to customers.
- Able to avoid aging material with proper planning
- Able to negotiate for better MOQ with lean production planning
- Responsible for updating stock status and send to sales in daily basis.
- Responsible for performing any job related to the ERP system.
- To perform production output monitoring and prepare relevant reports such as KPI, machine utilization.
- Involved for inventory stock count on a yearly basis.
- Performance of other ad hoc job as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
- Experience in the automotive & consumer project industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Preferred Mandarin Speaker to serve Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Competencies
Technical
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process with planning efficiency
- Understand lean manufacturing principle.
- Experience in capacity planning.
- Familiar with supply chain management.
Non-Technical
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in production planning software and tools; experience with ERP systems is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a production planning team.
