Key Responsibilities
As Plant Director, you will provide overall leadership for the manufacturing operation and be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end plant operations including Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Food Safety, Warehouse and Continuous Improvement.
- Developing and executing manufacturing strategies aligned with business growth and long-term operational objectives.
- Driving operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Delivering world-class manufacturing performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and OEE.
- Leading capital investment, automation and capacity expansion projects.
- Building a high-performance leadership team through coaching, succession planning and talent development.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC/BRC and all regulatory requirements.
- Partnering with Supply Chain, Commercial, Procurement and Finance to optimise planning, inventory and customer service.
- Managing plant financial performance, operating budgets, productivity improvements and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Driving a strong safety culture while fostering employee engagement and operational accountability.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience within FMCG, Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods.
- At least 5 years in a senior plant leadership position such as Plant Manager, Factory Manager, Manufacturing Director or Plant Director.
- Proven experience managing large manufacturing operations with multiple production lines and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, OEE improvement and operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience leading engineering, maintenance, quality, food safety and production functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to budgeting, cost optimisation and manufacturing performance management.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and people development capabilities.
- Experience within the beverage, dairy or food manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous.
