The Financial Controller responsible for managing the finance function and aligning local financial practices with multinational standards following a recent acquisition. This role provides an excellent opportunity to establish efficient finance processes and deliver insightful reporting to support commercial decisions and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance with Global Accounting Manual and control frameworks.
- Provide financial guidance to operational and commercial teams, safeguarding financial integrity.
- Ensure accurate and timely management/statutory reporting, ERP system accuracy, and month-end processes.
- Oversee cash flow, payment processes, and adherence to Group Treasury policies.
- Prepare regular reports (KPIs, board packs, tax, statutory filings) and support group reporting systems
- Identify cost-saving and profit improvement opportunities through margin and variance analysis.
- Lead budgeting and strategic planning cycles, including scenario modelling and forecasting.
- Continuously improve finance systems, controls, and data accuracy.
- Manage, develop, and mentor finance and procurement teams, including recruitment and succession planning.
- Support internal/external audits, insurance programs, and ad hoc business initiatives.
