Plant Financial Controller
The Plant Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the manufacturing site, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory control, and compliance. The role partners closely with plant leadership to drive operational performance, improve profitability, and ensure strong financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial closing and reporting activities.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the plant.
- Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock controls, and working capital performance.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Lead and develop the plant finance team.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years of finance experience, including manufacturing or plant finance exposure.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Dynamics, etc.).
- Strong business partnering, analytical, and leadership skills.
