Job Description
Processes Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze plant processes, workflows, and layouts to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, and methodologies and other improvement strategies.
- Review and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Productivity & Performance Enhancement
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, downtime, and resources optimization.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to enhance throughput and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functionals teams to improve operational performance.
Cost Reduction & Resources Optimization
- Evaluate and recommend cost-saving initiatives through better resource management and process efficiency.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify manpower optimization opportunities.
- Improve equipment utilization and energy efficiency to reduce operational costs
Technology & Automation Integration
- Assess and recommend automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to implement smart manufacturing solutions.
Quality & Compliances
- Ensure all processes improvements align with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the QA teams to maintain high products quality standards.
- Support the implementation of GMP, HACCP, ISO and SMETA requirements.
Change Management
- Train employees in processes improvements, best practices and new technologies or solutions.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experiences in process improvement, manufacturing or plant operations industries or its equivalent.
- This position based at Sitiawan, Perak.
