Air Products is expanding in Pengerang, Johor and we are hiring Plant Manager to support a new LNG‑based ASU plant producing Nitrogen, Oxygen and Argon. This plant uses new LNG ASU technology and operates under proven systems and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance
- Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, reliability, and cost
- Manage site performance against operational and budget targets
- Lead and develop plant teams while fostering a strong safety culture
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
- Oversee maintenance and operational programs to support high plant availability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth
- Ensure product quality and delivery commitments are consistently met
- Lead audit readiness and certification compliance such as ISO standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in process/operation, with min. 3 years of ASU experience.
- At least 10 years in people management.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, safety and compliance (EHS, PSM, DOSH).
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive results across teams.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Business acumen with understanding of operational cost and performance drivers.
