Job Summary

As the plant manager, you will be reporting to VP of operations and playing a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the growth, development and P&L for the company. This position involves overseeing business operations, provide leadership and vision to ensure the successful achievement of short- and long-range business strategies. Security, safety and compliance as top priority for the plant. You will be analysing operational performance, identifying trends, variances and determining operational effectiveness. You will develop and set targets and create metric to measure performance of key functions to meet the P&L plan. You are responsible for making strategic business decisions regarding staff, products and customers in all facets of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies that align with the Company's global business plan.
  • Provide feedback on results and guide changes in direction as appropriate.
  • Responsible for EBIDTA, Profit and Loss as well as KPI's.
  • Ensure security, safety and compliance adherence.
  • Manage policy deployment in the areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.
  • Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and working relationships.
  • Identify capital needs and match capital equipment to customer requirements and company growth.
  • Promote quality, customer requirements and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Drive direct reports to identify opportunities within the division to implement Green initiatives that will help to reduce cost and protect environment.
  • Stay abreast of current trends, benchmark practices and technological advances through continued education professional organizations and attendance at relevant trade shows.
  • Create fully functional organizational structure including workforce planning and talent development to achieve financial and targets for the segment and the business unit.
  • Transform and build an intelligent plant by integrating advanced digital technologies and Lean management to create a self-optimizing, interconnected ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree preferrable in Mechanical Engineering or with 7-10 years of related working experience in a leadership role.
  • Over 10 years of operation experience with focus on Lean.
  • Strong manufacturing experience, preferably in Precision Metal Stamping, Plastic Injection Molding, cold forging.
  • Strong knowledge of industry (Datacom), QMS (ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM, OEE).
  • Demonstrate strong competency in the following areas: Leadership, project management, financial acumen, problem solving analysis skills, technical capacity, performance management, presentation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of how to develop and implement business strategies.
