One of Remoly's valued clients, a well-established Chinese-invested FDI company in Malaysia, is looking for an experienced Factory General Manager to oversee end-to-end factory operations, lead cross-functional teams, implement operational improvements, and ensure production targets, quality standards, and business objectives are consistently achieved.

Salary range: RM 12,000 - RM 18,000 per month
Working Time: Monday to Friday - 8AM to 5PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the overall Malaysia factory setup and operation according to the group project timeline, including project tracking, risk identification and milestone delivery.
- Report project progress, issues and key outcomes to group and regional management on a regular basis; organize project weekly/monthly meetings and coordinate decision implementation.
- Coordinate production, quality, supply chain, finance, HR and other functions to ensure smooth progress from construction, equipment installation and trial production to mass production.
- Develop and implement the factory development strategy, operating plan, management systems and standard processes based on group strategy and local Malaysian regulatory requirements.
- Oversee daily factory management, annual/monthly work planning, team guidance, assessment, motivation and development for both local and Chinese management teams.
- Take overall responsibility for production operations, operational performance, production efficiency and product quality; review operational data and continuously optimize production processes and cost control.
- Review the factory organization structure, headcount planning, annual budget and final accounts, and strengthen financial supervision and cost management.
- Manage emergencies and external public relations, including government, customers and suppliers; ensure compliance with Malaysian labor, environmental, food safety and related regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or above. Food science, tea science, food engineering or related majors are preferred.
- At least 5 years of supply chain management or factory operations management experience.
- Experience in overseas factory setup or overseas factory operation is preferred.
- Food-related industry experience is mandatory.
- Good English capability is preferred.
