Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Patrolling and static post control, crime prevention and detecting suspicious activities.

Responsibilities Of The Job

  • Carry out safety and security duties as assigned.
  • Comply at all times with instructions from the Senior Security Assistant and higher-ranking officers.
  • Report all emergencies to the Senior Security Assistant and take immediate and appropriate action in cases of emergencies, incidents, criminal activities, pickets, riots, sabotage, civil disturbances, and related threats.
  • Patrol designated routes and locations, or any other areas as directed from time to time.
  • Ensure smooth traffic flow during peak hours and emergencies, and take appropriate action against errant motorists and illegal parking.
  • Immediately report any mechanical or electrical faults, property damage, water leakages, gas leaks, lift malfunctions (where applicable), fire hazards, or related issues to the Senior Security Assistant.
  • Monitor, record, and report construction activities and maintenance/upgrade works within the vicinity, including working hours, nature of work, and noise levels.
  • Supervise outsourced security personnel and monitor the service provider's performance to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Enforce all safety and fire regulations within the mall, including conducting security checks, inspections, and audits (Sec Check).

Qualifications

  • SPM with passes in at least 5 subjects, including Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah.
  • Malaysian citizen aged within 20 years old to 35 years old
  • Do not have any Criminal Record & Drug Influence and have a good health condition and eye sight
  • Average height for Male is 165cm & Female is 157cm
  • Good health and fitness
  • Body mass index of between 18%-30%
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
