Job Purpose
Responsible in reviewing and managing the relationships with SME / Commercial customers all over Malaysia and to assist Business Heads of Commercial Banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising Business Banking review team. (only applicable for team leader)
- Perform periodical reviews of the financing portfolio, including annual and interim reviews, watchlist reviews, and financial reviews, within the required TAT/timeframe. Approval must be obtained before the review expiry date.
- Reviews are conducted during the designated review period and include operational variation requests and to confirm that all CPs and subsequent conditions are met. . To highlight on any non-compliance and to identify/justify the cause and effect of the non-compliances.
- To recommend mitigation/action plan of the non-compliance.
- Reviews shall not include request for additional financing. RM to assess the request as it requires their credit assessment to establish viability of the new/additional financing
- Performing visits to customers business premises / other place of business / project sites for the purpose of review / periodical credit monitoring / credit verifications / banker-customer relationship maintenance / recovery. Thereafter, Call Reports are to be prepared to reflect the purpose and details of the visits.
- Working closely with Relationship Managers to ensure profitable customer-banker relationships. Liaising closely with Risk Management Department to ensure good quality of financing annual review submissions for timely deliberation at GMICC/GBICC.
- Presenting the credit annual review at GMICC/GBICC (only applicable for team leader)
- Undertaking necessary efforts to retain high quality customers and to exit the relationship with the sub-standard ones.
- Keeping abreast of the industry and business / economic cycle for the purpose of creating business opportunities and enhancing banker-customer relationship.
- Ensuring full-compliance with prescribed level of service standards and relevant guidelines
- Undertaking any other duties as may be assigned by the Business Heads from time to time.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in business or any related field
Experience
- Min 6 years and above of relevant experience
- Having adequate knowledge in credit and banking products
- Possess computer skills (Word/Powerpoint/Excel)
- Good communication skills, presentation and writing
- Having positive attitude and professional manner
