Job Description
An RHB Bank SME Portfolio Manager/Relationship Manager drives growth by acquiring new SME customers and managing a portfolio of at least 60 to 100 existing Middle Market/SME clients. Key duties include expanding loan portfolios, enhancing asset quality, cross-selling bank products, and ensuring high-quality client relationship management and compliance with credit policies.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Growth: Manage and deepen relationships with a core portfolio of at least 30 Middle Market/SME clients, driving primary sales through new customer acquisition and increased lending to existing clients.
Sales & Business Development: Grow the SME portfolio (assets) and deposits by offering comprehensive financing, including working capital, trade facilities, and cash management.
Credit Assessment: Conduct qualitative credit assessments, prepare credit proposals, and ensure compliance with conditions precedent for loan approvals.
Account Monitoring: Maintain portfolio asset quality, monitor customer experience, and ensure non-performing loans (NPL) are kept within budget.
Product Cross-Selling: Cross-sell various bank products (e.g., transaction banking, insurance, Treasury) to fulfill SME client needs.
Requirements
Experience: Strong credit knowledge, with experience in credit analysis, appraisal, or business loan lending.
Skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills for financial analysis and report writing.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is generally required.
