Job Description

Taylor's University invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Innovative Management Practices and Circular Economy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful research, scholarly publications, and postgraduate supervision within a dynamic and interdisciplinary academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality empirical research in the areas of Innovative Management Practices and Circular Economy.
  • Contribute to research projects under the Center for the Future of Work (CFW) and the Innovative Management Practices (IMP) research cluster.
  • Assist the Director for CFW and Cluster Lead for Innovative Management Practices in managing project activities.
  • Support postgraduate students.
  • Contribute to research proposal development, grant applications, and project reports for funding agencies.
  • Publish research work in high-impact, indexed journals and present at academic conferences.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Publish a minimum oftwo (2)articles annually inSSCI-indexed journals.
  • Submit anannual progress reportendorsed by the Director of CFW or Cluster Lead for IMP.
  • Actively participate in postgraduate supervision and scholarly activities within the research cluster.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • PhD inManagement, Economics, Sustainability, Business, Innovation, Environmental Studies, or a closely related discipline, awarded within the lastfive years.
  • Minimum of two (2) publications in SSCI-indexed journals.
  • Proven ability to conductindependent researchis highly desirable.
  • Experience in international research collaboration or externally funded projects will be an advantage.

Competencies

  • Strong research planning, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in methodologies, including econometric analysis, experimental research, or data analytics applied to sustainability and/or circular economy research.
  • Knowledge in sustainability assessment framework, circular economy practices, or sustainability performance measurement is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary research teams.
  • High standards of academic integrity, professionalism, and research excellence.
